Waterways 2018 Report Card

Healthy Land and Water has unveiled the 2018 Report Card

Posted on 16.11.2018

On Monday 12 November, Healthy Land and Water unveiled the 2018 Report Card results on their new-look website!

Check out the condition of South East Queensland catchments and the reasons behind their grades.

The Report Card also provides communities with insight into their catchment’s social and economic benefits, current issues and ways to improve waterway health by starting in our own backyards!

Community Forums

In addition, HLW are hosting four Community Forums across South East Queensland (SEQ) to provide an opportunity to join a roundtable discussion about the Report Card results, the implications, local observations and issues, and initiatives underway to address them.

The Forums will be held between late November and mid-December and will also allow a chance to share and discuss past and current projects in your region and raise opportunities for future projects.

Experts will discuss how they’ll be undertaking an upcoming review of the SEQ Natural Resource Management Plan. There will also be discussion around the 2019 National Landcare Program.
