The Healthy Land and Water Awards recognises and celebrates the dedication and passion of volunteers, schools, community groups and organisations who are working to protect and improve South East Queensland’s land and waterways. The 2017 awards mark 18 years since the program began.

There are 11 award categories and the Minister’s Grand Prize which are judged by an independent panel of experts. The People’s Choice Award winner is determined by the community, who vote for their favourite Healthy Land and Water Awards finalist.

The Healthy Land and Water Awards category winners, including the People’s Choice Award and Minister’s Grand Prize, are announced at a special Gala Dinner on Friday 1 September 2017
