Lord Mayor's Community Sustainability and Environmental Grants program 2018-9

Posted on 29.10.2018

Keeping Brisbane clean and green is all about making our city liveable and sustainable for our children, and their children to follow. Brisbane City Council has a range of grants available to help protect Brisbane’s natural environment and promote sustainability.

The Lord Mayor’s Community Sustainability and Environmental Grants program supports community groups, non-profit organisations and registered native wildlife carers to deliver environmental and sustainable projects. Applications for the two grants listed below are now open and close on Monday 10 December 2018

  • Environmental Grants: Community groups can apply for grants between $1000 and $20,000 to undertake environmental initiatives for local or city-wide environmental projects
  • Sustainability Grants: Community groups can apply for grants between $1000 and $10,000 to implement energy efficiency measures, supporting the reduction of energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
