Iran bombs the US diplomatic center in Iraq after learning that Russian intelligence points targets to Tehran

An airstrike this Friday hit the Taji base, a military complex near the Baghdad airport that houses a United States diplomatic facility.

The agency Reuters reported the impact of two Katyusha rockets, citing Iraqi security sources, while France-Presse speaks of four drones, two of which would have evaded the air defenses. None report deaths or injuries.

It is not, however, the first airstrike directed against the Baghdad airport in the course of Operation Epic Fury against Iran. The facility is a regular target of Iraqi militias pro-Tehran and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
