Bita Hemmati, first woman sentenced to hanging for protests and being “in favor of the hostile US government”

It will be the first female execution by hanging after protesting against the ayatollahs’ regime.

Hemmati has been sentenced to death along with three other people on charges of “operational action in favor of hostile US government and hostile groups”.

Family ties

Bita Hemmati is married to Mohammadreza Majid-Asl, 34 years oldanother of the men who are on the list of those sentenced to death for this cause.

In addition, two other men appear, Behrouz Zamaninejad and Kourosh Zamaninejadwho lived in the same residential building as the couple.

A source has informed HRANA according to Fox News that “Mohammadreza Majidi-Asl and Bita Hemmati are a couple living in Tehran and Amir Hemmati is related to both of them.”

Amir Hemmati, Bita’s relative, has received a sentence of almost six years in prison for charges related to national security and propaganda against the State.

Forced confessions

According to a press release froml National Council of Resistance of Iranthe four convicts were arrested during the demonstration and subjected to torture before their sentencing.

The convicts were forced to confess after being tortured by the regime’s guards.

As reported by the Abdorrahman Borumand Center, Hemmati was the woman interrogated by the head of the judiciary, Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Eje’i, on state television in January.

“The recording and dissemination of forced confessions of the accused in an opaque process constitute a flagrant violation of the rights of the accused,” the statement said.

Accusation of Hemmati

The accusation by the Iranian Regime includes the use of explosives and weapons.

She is also accused of aggression against security forces, destruction of public property and participation in illegal gatherings.

In addition to all this, the ayatollahs consider that the protesters collaborated with “hostile governments“, since for them it was Donald Trump and the United States who were behind encouraging these protests.
