We are running our Canoe Guide Short Course in November.

This short course teaches you the skills to be able to guide a canoe trip. You will receive the skills to be able to work with in relevant legislation and organisational policies and procedures, identify hazards and risk to personal safety of participants. How to plan for a canoe trip and identify food and water requirements while accessing relevant weather and environmental information. How to select and fit the correct safety equipment to run a session. Provide all the relevant information and safety procedures required to conduct a safe and successful session. Competently manage the group out on the water, providing feedback and adjusting techniques where necessary. At the end of the session be able to seek feedback on the trip from the participants, correctly pack, store and fill out any reports required for the activity.
