We are running our Bushwalking Intermediate Short Course in February.

This short course teaches the skills and knowledge required to bushwalk in uncontrolled environments under minimal supervision. This course focuses on the demonstration of various bushwalking skills through the participation in bushland, arid, mountainous, or rainforest walks. Also the student will be able to describe the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge to guide or lead participants on day and or overnight bushwalks. There is also focus on the application of planning skills to make logistical arrangements for a bushwalking trips in difficult and trackless areas and lead the walk safely according to an activity plan.

Please Note:
This course is designed for people already working in the industry or gives an opportunity for anyone undertaking a full qualification to start their practical training components. Assessment of this course requires logged hours of experience.
