Planet Ark would like to invite to take part in National Tree Day, the country’s largest nature-care event and community tree planting event, on Sunday July 28th. This is a tree-mendous opportunity dig in and make a difference for your community and local environment.

Planet Ark’s National Tree Day and Schools Tree Day provide all Australians with an opportunity to do something positive for the environment and reconnect with nature, thanks to support from our longstanding major sponsor Toyota Australia.

Planet Ark works with councils, schools and community groups to help hundreds of thousands of Australians plant over 1 million native trees, shrubs and grasses at more than 4000 Tree Day events.

National Tree Day – It’s time to bare your heart and soil

Nature elevates the human spirit. It ignites passion, inspiration, creativity and purpose. And it’s the driving force behind why more than a quarter of a million people participate in National Tree Day each year.

There’s no better time to bare your heart and soil than National Tree Day. We want everyone to know the inspiration that nature can bring.

Hear from our very own Debbie Agnew, National Tree Day Manager, on her 50th birthday about the lessons she’s learned from trees and the inspiration behind Australia’s largest community tree planting and nature-care event.

Be blown away by the artwork and photography of body painter, Orly Faya, who paints Debbie into nature as a visual statement of Planet Ark’s vision to create a world where people live in harmony with nature.
