2021 National Outdoor Education Conference
New dates following COVID-19 postponement from September 2020
Outdoor Education Australia‘s biennial 2021 National Outdoor Education Conference (NOEC) will be held at the Fairmont Resort at Leura in the spectacular Blue Mountains, less than two hours from Sydney.
The theme of the 2021 NOEC conference is Expanding Our Horizons: Looking Up and Out
Outdoor education seeks to engage participants in a growth mindset, utilizing the outdoors as the vehicle to promote learning. The 2020 National Outdoor Education Conference challenges delegates to maintain a growth mindset in their work as outdoor educators. It is important that we acknowledge and commend the high quality of outdoor education programs throughout Australia. Many of these programs challenge participants to move beyond the familiar to extend their comfort zone. Delegates will be invited to poke their head up from their day-to-day professional work, to look up and out and expand their horizon.
There will also be a number of social functions to catch up with interstate colleagues and meet delegates attending the conference for the first time.
