For the first time ever a two day event dedicated to getting your kids grubby and grimy!

Mud squelching through the toes, splattering the clothes and no one objects. Could there be a better feeling? Children making mud pies, jumping in mud, swimming in mud, getting mudded all over. The more the better. Even those who like to be squeaky clean will give into mud’s temptation. Because that’s the fun of it – mud can be washed off, but the memories will stay forever.

This great Mud World experience will land soon – a two-day festival for kids with a choice of free-range MUD play activities. There are 5 Realms within MUD WORLD for kids to explore:

  • Muddy Monsterland
  • Village of Mud
  • Mud Mania
  • Land Slide
  • The Great Muddy Mountain Range.

And even more fun on the Saturday evening session with DJ Steve at The Muddy Wonderland Dance Party.

Become a MUDDLING (also know as a citizen of MUD WORLD) and get grubby with us in the Mountains of Mud.
It will be HEAPS of FUN.

About Nature Play QLD

Nature Play QLD‘s mission is to increase the time Queensland kids spend in unstructured play outdoors and in nature. It is founded on the understanding that unstructured play outdoors – nature play – is fundamental to a full and healthy childhood.   Nature play promotes health benefits, including cognitive, social and emotional development, and it builds resilience and creativity as well.

Experiences in nature as a child also leads to environmental awareness and stewardship later in life.   Nature Play QLD is a collaborative organisation, working with partner groups to encourage the Queensland community to value nature play, and support families to prioritise it in children’s lives.

Our primary role is to advocate the nature play message and to increase access to nature play resources, events and programs for Queenslanders.
