Completion of this training course will give you nationally recognised units in the area of Bushwalking Leader – Tracked Environments.

Training Dates:
The training course will take place on 5 & 6 September and will be based at the Tallebudgera OEEC in Palm Beach or the surrounding area.

Assessment Dates:
Participants also need to attend two overnight Assessment Weekends at 2 different locations throughout Northern NSW and Southeast Queensland.

Bushwalking Assessment 1: 31 October & 1 November 2020 (overnight)
Bushwalking Assessment 2: 14 & 15 November 2020 (overnight)

There are other Assessment Weekends throughout the year that you could attend if these do not suit.

Assessment Process:
All participants will complete:

  • Precourse work (including online work)
  • A training weekend
  • A major project task
  • And 2 assessment weekends.

Cost:
$2990 to complete the full Cert. 3 in Outdoor Leadership (this is one part of this course)
$1200 for this individual specialisation.

All training and assessment weekends will run subject to minimum numbers and confirmation will be made two weeks prior to each scheduled session.
