As part of the Queensland Women’s Week (3rd – 11th March) QORF is proud to present Be Fearless.

Join us at Be Fearless and hear from inspirational women as they share their journeys and guide us into the outdoors!

Featuring a panel session of all female adventurers sharing their stories and tips for the outdoors, Q&A with the presenters, followed by a series of interactive workshops, Be Fearless is a free event designed to inspire and equip young women with the knowledge and practical skills to participate in the South-East Queensland Outdoors.

This is an exciting opportunity for young women to connect with knowledgeable outdoor recreation adventurers and organisations to ask questions and gain an understanding into how they can explore the great outdoors.

Experience in the outdoors isn’t necessary, in fact the less the better! Our experienced facilitators will take participants through the basics, providing an environment where there is no such thing as a silly question. We’re taking it back to basics and encouraging women to Be Fearless in the outdoors.

Gutsy girls ...

Gutsy girls skateboard, climb trees, clamber around, fall down, scrape their knees, get right back up — and grow up to be brave women. Learn how to spark a little productive risk-taking and raise confident girls with stories and advice from firefighter, paraglider and all-around adventurer Caroline Paul.
