More than half a million people visit Mackay each year to see the crystal clear water, sandy beaches and pristine rainforest hinterland.  This is a great opportunity to get out of the city and out of your comfort zone to attend the conference on from 30th May – to 1st June.

This year the theme of the Conference will be  Active Places – Active Connections

  • Day One – Activating people and spaces
  • Day Two – Active Transport – Connecting people and places

Mackay Regional Council will be showcasing the best of their facilities including the conference venue, the state-of-the-art Mackay Entertainment and Convention Centre and the presenters will be first class. Abstracts are open until 7th April 2017. Don’t miss out on this conference.

The PLA Regional Awards of Excellence Dinner will be held at this conference as well with all winners of the awards being announced and celebrated on the night of the 31st May.
