Come join us for a great family fun day on SUNDAY 14 APRIL 2019 at Murarrie Recreation Ground, 1238 Wynnum Rd, Murarrie

We all know regular exercise is important for us, but it is essential to people living with Parkinson’s to help maintain a positive lifestyle. PQI’s signature event A Walk in the Park on Sunday 14 April provides an opportunity for people living with Parkinson’s, their families and friends to enjoy an active walk. The day will include music, food trucks and other fun activities for every age group.

Funds raised from A Walk in the Park can support up to five Queensland based nurses’ registrations for a Parkinson’s Care Postgraduate Unit of Study.

Celebrities like Billy Connolly, Alan Alda and Michael J. Fox certainly do their best to raise awareness of Parkinson’s, with their personal discussions on the global stage. And whilst this supports destigmatising the condition we need you to help us.

There will food trucks, free activities, information booths and entertainment providing a fun, family, festival – BYO the family.

Be sure to bring the kids (and grandkids) as children under 5 are free!

So why not get a team together (from your company, colleagues, friends or family) and join us in raising awareness – if you can’t join us for the day perhaps you can share this with your friends ?

Where is it being held?
