Toowoomba RC Community Grants

Recognising the important contribution from sport and recreation community organisations

Toowoomba Regional Council provides funding and/or in-kind assistance to help not-for-profit and incorporated organisations to support new facilities and upgrades of facilities to benefit the community. Organisations may apply for a grant of up to 50% of the funding gap (total project cost less other grant sources), up to a maximum of $150,000, under the Council’s Sport and Recreation Community Grants Program.

The opportunity to apply for a grant is available twice annually

  • Applications open January 1, 2020 & close February 3 2020
  • Applications open July 1, 2020 & close August 1, 2020

Eligible organisations may apply for a grant of up to 50% of the funding gap (total project cost excluding GST less other grant sources) up to a maximum of $150,000. Funding is allocated on a dollar-for-dollar, matched funding basis. The main priority for this grant program is infrastructure projects that increase participation and assist volunteers.
