The Israeli Army announces the destruction of Khamenei’s bunker used by other Iranian military leaders

The bunker, according to the Israel Defense Forces, has been destroyed after the dropping of a hundred bombs by some 50 aircraft on the shelter located under the Iranian leaders’ compound. According to Tel Aviv, it stretched across several residential streets in the capital and had “many entry points and rooms for meetings of senior members of the regime”.

Later, the Israeli Army spokesman, Effie Defrinhas assured that Khamenei planned to “lead the fight against Israel” from that underground bunker, which, according to him, remained “the main headquarters of the regime’s leadership in Tehran.”

In a video posted on social media, Defrin explained that Iranian commanders continued to use the shelter after Khamenei’s death because “They believed it was a protected and impenetrable place“. “They were wrong. Early in the morning, we attacked him with a powerful attack,” he said.

During his appearance, the military representative showed a computer simulation of the bunker, which indicates that it “stretches along entire streets in the heart of Tehran and includes numerous access points and rooms” for the leaders of the Islamic Republic “to meet and advance the war against Israel.”

“He was eliminated before he could use it,” Defrin said of Khamenei, adding that this latest attack “deals another serious blow to the regime’s ability to maintain its activity.”
