Millions of people join the ‘No Kings’ movement in the US to protest against the Trump Government

During the day this Saturday, it is taking place in USA the third day of demonstrations of the movement No Kings, where millions of people are showing their discontent with the Donald Trump’s governmenthe conflict in Iran and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

At this time, more than 3,300 rallies are taking place in all 50 states of the country and, according to its organizers, this would be one of the largest to date against Trump’s leadership and the current war situation.

The most important mobilizations are taking place in New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Minneapolis and Saint Paul.

This movement has been the fruit of the union of some 400 groups, such as Amnesty International, Indivisible, unions and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).

Under the motto No kingsthey want to show the rejection of the “authoritarianism” they perceive during Donald Trump’s second term, especially as a result of the alleged abuses of ICE and immigration operations, where two American citizens were murdered last January in Minnesota.

Likewise, they also want to show their discontent with the “illegal war” that the American leader started a month ago in Iran.

One day before this national mobilization, progressive senator Bernie Senders declared, via X, that “millions of Americans were going to join the protests of the movement No Kings“.

“We will say no to authoritarianism. No to oligarchy. No to endless wars. No to continuous attacks against the working class,” Senders said.

Third gear from 2025

The protests that are taking place on March 28 are not the first that have taken place against Trump’s policies.

The first demonstration under the motto ‘No kings’ took place on June 14, 2025, the day on which the anniversary of the US army and the 250 years of its armed forces took place with a parade in the US capital, Washington DC

Four months later, on October 18, another mobilization was held again, where, as noted, The New York Timesmore than seven million people.
