Israel takes advantage of the ceasefire with Iran to launch its largest attack against Lebanon



While the US and Iran have agreed on a two-week ceasefire and the reopening of Hormuz, Israel It does not stop its attacks.

The army launched this Wednesday the ‘major’ attack on Lebanon so far in the war, reaching more than a hundred Hezbollah targets in just a strip of ten minutes.

The Air Force used some 50 fighters that dropped 160 bombs against targets in the central area of ​​Beirut, Bekaa and southern Lebanon. The attacks targeted command posts, missile launch systems, intelligence infrastructure and other military facilities.

Many of them were in civilian areas. The Israel Defense Forces have accused the Shiite group’s fighters of “using civilians as human shields.”

For its part, the Government of Lebanon has reported “hundreds of martyrs and wounded” due to the latest wave of Israeli bombings.

“Great achievements”

More than 1,500 people have died in Lebanese territory and another 4,800 have been injured in Israel’s attacks, not including this latest wave, according to the Lebanese authorities’ count.
