
Nearly five weeks after the first US-Israeli airstrikes, the war in Iran continues to wreak havoc across the region and disrupt financial markets, increasing pressure on Donald Trump to find a quick solution to the conflict.
The American president has threatened to return the Islamic Republic to “the Stone Age” by destroying its critical infrastructure. Tehran has reiterated that under the current circumstances it is impossible to negotiate and has launched new waves of missiles against Israeli territory and other countries in the Persian Gulf.
