Iran suspends its bombings, reserves the right to counterattack and rejects unconditional surrender

“The acting Leadership Council approved yesterday (Friday) that there will be no more attacks on neighboring countries and no missiles will be fired unless an attack on Iran originates from those countries,” Pezeshkian announced in a televised address to the nation.

The Iranian president has even gone so far as to apologize to regional neighbors and insisted that his country does not harbor any kind of animosity towards themin line with the official position of the Iranian Government, which from the beginning has argued that its bombings were directed against military positions, either of the United States or of Washington’s regional allies.

“Unfortunately, what we are seeing is that, without respecting any international laws, they bomb any place they want and do not refrain from attack schools, hospitals and various centers in the country,” Pezeshkian said in the video this Saturday.

Iran has insisted that does not plan to surrender and that the country is prepared for a long warand has responded with attacks on Israel – with ten dead – and several US military bases and embassies in countries in the region, including Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
