And blue helmet of the United Nations Peace Force in the Lebanon (UNIFIL) has died and another has been seriously injured in an attack “of unknown origin”, as reported early this Monday by the UN agency itself.
“A blue helmet was tragically killed at night when a shell exploded in a base from UNIFIL near Adchit Al Qusayr“, in southern Lebanon, while “another was seriously injured,” the peace force published in X.
The organization said “not knowing the origin of the projectile” and having started an investigation to find out the circumstances under which the death occurred.
