An employee of an English daycare center is sentenced to 24 years in prison for raping and sexually abusing several children

And daycare worker who raped and abused young children in his care in Bristol, to the west of England, has been sentenced to 24 years in prison, as ordered this Monday by the Crown Court of this city.

Nathan Bennett, 30, who abused two and three year olds at the Partou King Street nursery in Bristol, had been found guilty last month on eight charges: two of rape, four of sexual assault and two of assault by penetration.

In addition, the court established that, after prison, Bennett must comply a six-year probation period.

During the trial, several parents and daycare staff testified that they had expressed concern about the worker’s behavior towards the minors in his care in February 2025.

Police began an investigation after staff caught it on security cameras. putting his hand in a child’s pants, lor that led to his arrest and the closure of the daycare.

Staff observed him sitting children on his lap for long periods of time, wore pants with holes in the crotch and seemed to have a possessive behavior with some minors, saccording to the judgment.

Before announcing the sentence this Monday, Judge William Hart said that Bennett has caused “serious psychological damage” to several people, but that “he will never again be in a similar position” to abuse minors.

“You are a dangerous criminal“he told Bennett.
