River to Bay

New tourism initiative linking Brisbane to Moreton Bay

Posted on 03.03.2020

River to Bay is a new tourism initiative from John Sharpe, CEO of Green Circle Member Riverlife Adventures and winner of the The Queensland Government Outstanding Achievement Award (Individual) in 2014.

River to Bay links the city of Brisbane to the natural wonders of Moreton Bay and Islands in the comfort of a fleet of custom designed fast tour boats. Cultural guides will share the stories of the Brisbane and Moreton Bay region from the dreamtime to the present.

With so many amazing sights within easy cruising range, River to Bay will be offering a range of themed tours to try to cover the highlights.  While some tours will focus on exploring nature with guided walks and snorkelling, others will focus on heritage experiences or blazing a trail of seafood, wine and craft beer.  All River to Bay tours will feature scenic cruising and encounters with our local Moreton Bay marine life.

With close affiliations to Tangalooma Resort, Quandamooka Yoolooburrabee Aboriginal Council, Story Bridge Adventure Climb, Riverlife, Tangatours, Walkabout Creek Adventure Tours, The Gifting Owl, Howard Smith Wharves, The Star, Shakas Adventure Tours and Brisbane Marketing; River to Bay will unlock the adventures and wonders of Moreton Bay to tourists and locals alike.
