St Johns First Responder

St John First Responder app’s main feature notifies a suitably qualified app user of an incident in their vicinity, giving them an opportunity to provide first aid to the persons needing it. Once an incident is accepted the app will display a map showing both the incident location, app user location and the shortest path to the incident, as well as a live tracker of an approaching ambulance.

GetHomeSafe calls for help when you or your phone can’t, providing reassurance during any activity where you feel vulnerable about your personal safety – it will check up on you throughout your chosen activity and check you get home safe! If you don’t check in safe as planned, GetHomeSafe will raise an alarm on your behalf via email or SMS (charges apply) to as many people as you want! The alerts are sent from the GetHomeSafe servers, not your phone. You don’t need a working phone or even to be be conscious for an alert to be sent.

Official app of the Australian Volunteer Coast Guard and Marine Rescue Queensland – The ‘Coast Guard SafeTrx’ app allows you to register your vessel (including paddle craft) and plan your journey on your smartphone.

Registering vessel and trip information could not be any easier. Follow the registration process to start using the app. Finalise the registration in the website with the same login codes. Once your registration details have been saved, you can make your choice from the menu in the app. You may either plan and file your trip (Sail plan mode) or just activate the tracking function of the app (Track only mode).
