Posted on 02.07.2018

An adventure tourism business, is in the business of creating incredible experiences. Customers put their trust in adventure tourism businesses to guide them as they get out of their comfort zones and go to amazing places.

There is now a way to check that safety systems meet the highest possible international standard of safety. That standard – ISO 21101 – outlines the requirements of a safety management system for adventure tourism activity providers. It was agreed by an international working group of adventure tourism experts and is recognised globally.

What better way to promote to clients that safety systems have been checked to highest international standards?

Qualworx is an international audit body based in New Zealand, equipped to deliver audits against  ISO 21101 and other national and international standards, for clients all over the globe.

New Zealand has long had the reputation of being the world’s leading adventure tourism destination. We also lead the world in auditing safety systems in adventure tourism providers.

Our audit team is made up of highly-skilled experts across a wide range of outdoor recreation and adventure disciplines. They know that adventure tourism is the best job in the world, because they’ve done it too. And they are professionally qualified auditors, trained to work with your business to critically evaluate your safety system and identify areas where you can improve.
