Winners of the 2017 Healthy Land and Water Awards Announced

We are pleased to acknowledge and congratulate QORF Green Circle member, the Stanley River Environmental Education Centre  for winning the Sustainable Education Award sponsored by  the Port of Brisbane and the Minister’s Grand Prize sponsored by the Queensland Government.

The Stanley River Environmental Education Centre was a 2016 winner of the QORF Government Achievement Award, one of the Outdoors Queensland Awards currently open for nominations.

And we congratulate Patrick Brabant (who spoke so well at the Nature Play Just for the Fun of It symposium in March this year) won the Junior Environmental Champion Award.

The Outdoors Queensland Awards (formerly known as the Queensland Outdoor Recreation Awards) that recognise and reward excellence in the outdoors community, are OPEN for nominations.

The award winners will be announced at the Outdoors Queensland Awards Dinner held at the Rydges South Bank Brisbane on Friday October 27th, 2017.
