Get Playing Places and Spaces and Get Going Funding Now Open

The following funding programs have recently opened:

Get Going – funding to help clubs grow

  • Funding to support not-for-profit local sport and recreation organisations to create and provide access to participation opportunities for Queenslanders.
  • Organisations can apply for up to $7,500 (GST excl)
  • Applications close 11 August 2017

Get Playing Places and Spaces – funding to improve facilities

  • Funding for infrastructure development so that more Queenslanders can be involved in sport and active recreation.
  • Organisations can apply for up to $150,000 (GST excl)
  • Organisations are required to provide a minimum 20% co-contribution unless the project is in a disaster declared local government area
  • Applications close 11 August 2017
