FairPlay Vouchers now OPEN

Round 2 of FairPlay opened on 22nd January 2020

FairPlay vouchers is an initiative under the Queensland Government’s Activate! Queensland 2019–2029 strategy to support regular participation in physical activity, by reducing the cost for children and young people from low-income families.

What about Get Started Vouchers?
FairPlay vouchers has replaced the Get Started Vouchers program.

Applying for a FairPlay voucher

Parents, carers or guardians can apply for a voucher valued up to $150 for their child, which can be used towards sport and active recreation membership, registration or participation fees with registered activity providers.

There is a limit of 1 voucher per child per calendar year.

Key Dates

  • 22 January 2020 – Round 2 now OPEN
  • 1 April 2020 – Round 2 close
  • 13 May 2020 – Vouchers expire and must have been presented to an activity provider

Program information can always be found on the website, including instruction for any new activity providers wishing to register.

If you provide participation programs as a state level organisation, you may also be eligible to apply to be a registered activity provider.
