A consultation opportunity for the horse-riding community

SkillsIQ, under the direction of the Sport and Recreation Industry Reference Committee (IRC), is undertaking a thorough review of all Equine related training package products packaged within the Sport, Fitness and Recreation Training Package. A key and significant focus of this review work will be addressing recommendations made within the ASQA strategic review Training in equine programs in Australia.

Draft 1 of the Equine Units of Competency and associated Assessment Requirements will be open for public consultation from 22nd May to 16th June 2017. Click to access drafts online please CLICK

A series of industry feedback forums and webinars will be held during this time.

SkillsIQ invites you to attend the below sessions to:

  • Provide feedback and additional information for consideration in ongoing development.
