AQIA Workforce Impacts Survey

AQIA Workforce Impacts Survey

AQIA Survey on workforce impacts caused by COVID-19 relating to your employees, staff and contractors.

Posted on 19.03.2020

As the peak body for the outdoor sector, QORF works closely with the Active Queenslanders Industry Alliance (AQIA) to help improve working conditions throughout the sector.

The following message and request is from Phil Reeves, Executive Chair of the AQIA …

Like you, we already can’t wait to get back to normal life as soon as the COVID-19 (coronavirus) crisis is over. Unfortunately it doesn’t appear that will be anytime soon.

However, none of us will be able to do that if industries like Fitness, Sport and Recreation have collapsed or there is no workforce in place to see the clubs, gyms and outdoor recreation businesses bounce back.

So collectively we need to make sure government doesn’t forget our sector and that’s where your help is required.

We need you to spend a few minutes answering a handful of survey questions so that Active Queenslanders Industry Alliance can do its job of representing the active industry workforce at this time of social distancing.

The questions are about workforce impacts caused by COVID-19 relating to your employees, staff and contractors.

We also want to ensure our sector and the contribution it makes to our way of life as well as the economy is front of mind in the roll out of industry support packages during this period of closure or restricted access.

The survey is at: COVID-19 Survey

The more responses we receive the more effective our representations will be.

We’re sure you’ll agree it is in all our interests to make sure the active industry can bounce back as soon as the crisis is over.

Thank you for your help.
