Active Restart Infrastructure Recovery Fund

$15.5 million to not-for-profit sport and recreation organisation

Posted on 17.07.2020

The Active Restart Infrastructure Recovery Fund will provide $15.5 million in targeted funding to not-for-profit sport and recreation organisations to support their return to play and encourage the Queensland community to re-engage with physical activity post-COVID-19.

Priority will be to share funding equally between Regional and South East Queensland, across activities and on those projects that will benefit as many clubs and participants as possible.

Read the Active Restart Infrastructure Recovery Fund guidelines (PDF, 819 KB ) for more detail about funding priorities and program requirements.

Key Dates

16 July 2020 – Applications opened
7 August 2020 – Applications close
By 30 September – Successful projects approved and can commence
31 March 2021 – Projects must be completed

As many outdoor clubs and organisations may be eligible, we encourage you to apply. It would be great to see a significant portion of this funding going to outdoor clubs and organisations. (QORF)
