Active Queenslanders Industry Alliance
The Active Queenslanders Industry Alliance is the peak body for workforce development of our industry in Queensland and works to deliver tangible benefits to help sustain and grow Queensland’s fitness, sport and active recreation sectors.
The Active Queenslanders Industry Alliance works closely with peak bodies, industry organisations and associations, employers and individuals to ensure we are the voice of the industry in relation to the skills and training needs and other workforce development issues.

The locally owned (Brisbane) and run K2 Base Camp has been helping adventurers experience, explore and succeed for 30 years now with a passionate team and top quality climbing gear. The K2 team are only genuine outdoor enthusiasts – people “who live it, breathe it, talk it, and know it inside out”. K2 has become a Brisbane institution for those at home in the outdoors, local adventure-seekers and a myriad of backpackers and explorers alike.
The Heart Foundation
For 60 years the Heart Foundation has been helping improve heart health across the nation through funding life-saving heart research and working to improve heart disease prevention and care for all Australians.
The Heart Foundation is dedicated to making a real difference to the heart health of Australians.
Australian Camps Association
‘More People Outdoors More Often’
The ‘not-for-profit’ Australian Camps Association (ACA) is the national peak body for camps and associated providers. We strongly believe that participation in supported outdoor experiences through residential camps and led adventure activities leads to happier and healthier lives.
Outdoor Council of Australia
The Outdoor Council of Australia (OCA) is the national peak body advocating for and representing organisations and individuals that employ outdoor adventure activities for the purposes of: Recreation, Education, Tourism, Personal development and Corporate development.
Outdoor Educators Association of Queensland
The Outdoor Educators Association of Queensland (OEAQ) was established in 1981 to represent the interests of individuals and organisations involved in Outdoor Education and to encourage and lead the development of professional practice in Outdoor Education in Queensland.
