Become a member of the QORF outdoors community!

There are two basic types of QORF membership:

COMMUNITY Member

Sign up today and become a member of the QORF Outdoors community – it is FREE and  as a QORF Community Member you help us to represent the interests of all outdoor recreation users in Queensland. The greater the membership numbers, the stronger voice we share and the more we can achieve.

Other membership benefits and ways to Get Involved include the eNewsletter, the What’s On calendar,  Making Connnections, social media, invitations to special events, participation in surveys, and networking opportunities.

GREEN CIRCLE Member

Enjoy the benefits of full QORF membership including discount event tickets, discount advertising rates, reduced prices at the Shop and full access to the QORF online resource and data library (Login and password will soon be required for full access to the Industry section of the website).

Other benefits of becoming a Green Circle Member are promotion of your business on your own Member Page (with an exclusive url you can share with your clients and customers); full inclusion in the Discover section so that you can be quickly and easily found by your potential new customers; and use of the QORF Green Circle Member logo on your website and printed material.

Go to Getting Involved for more ideas on how to make the most of your membership by getting involved, and for other ways to connect with us, please go to Making Connections. Check out the Member Directory for other Green Circle Members.

There are 5 levels of Green Circle Membership so you can easily choose the membership level most appropriate to you or your organisation.

The levels are:

Ordinary: Applies to state or national organisations, collectives or associations (generally with their own large membership base), which represent a significant portion of the industry in Queensland.

Associate: Applies to outdoor centres, companies, registered businesses, schools, councils and other organisations which do not represent a significant proportion of the industry in Queensland.

Club/Group: Applies to clubs, small groups and locally based Not-for Profit organisations

Individual: Applies to individuals or employees of member organisations only and not representatives of non-member clubs, groups or other organisations. *Note membership fees may be a tax deduction.

Student: Applies to students in an outdoor sector related program

How to Apply

Simply go to the Become a Member page, select the appropriate member type, fill out the form, read and acknowledge the Code of Ethics,  and click REGISTER. Once your payment has been processed you will have immediate access to all Member Only content in the Industry section.

Confirmation that your membership applications has been signed off by the Management Committee will be received with 5 – 7 working days, when you will then be prompted to create your Member Page and make full use of the opportunities QORF membership brings.

NOTE: In the very unlikely event your application is turned down by the Management Committee your payment will be fully refunded.
