Gemini will transform Aluminum OS: From simple access to incredible shortcuts on your PC


For some time now, the expectation for the arrival of Aluminum OS, the operating system based on Androidhas grown considerably. Its purpose is to replace ChromeOS and compete directly with Windows 11 in its strongest field: the desktop field.

This new operating system, as seen in several images, will be fully committed to Gemini, Google’s most prominent artificial intelligence assistant. This integration will follow the pattern that Android has adopted for a long time.

By pressing both keys, we will activate Gemini in the system. Google’s vision is not only to incorporate this assistant throughout the entire operating system, but also to have it function as the main search engine of the software.

In this way, Gemini in Aluminum OS will act like Spotlight does on Mac computers or the search function in Windows, specifically in Windows 11. This also brings to mind Microsoft’s Cortana during the Windows 10 era, although without success.

Nevertheless, It is still unknown what interface Gemini will use in this system, or at least how it will run outside of your desktop app. No images of this side panel system on the top shortcut have been revealed.

The real unknown is how Gemini will expand through Aluminum OS, considering that on Android it acts as an assistant that can be invoked anywhere in the system and as an independent application.

Google will likely reintegrate some of the Gemini interface that is already available in English Chrome and implement it in Aluminum OS. It also remains to be determined how important and present this will be. chatbot in the daily use of the system.
