Recently, Samsung’s first teaser for the launch of its new Galaxy S26 series was revealed, although the exact date of the Galaxy Unpacked event was not specified. However, a few hours ago Samsung officially confirmed the date.
Now, in the new trailer you can clearly see the date: it will be the February 26 at 7:00 p.m. in Spain.
According to GSMArenathe pre-booking for the three models in the series, the Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra, is now open for those who want early access through the Galaxy Unpacked page.
The event will take place in San Francisco and will be broadcast live through Samsung’s official website and its YouTube channel.
Regarding the specifications, no big surprises expectedsince most of its features have been revealed, including camera details leaked by Samsung itself and a screenshot of its privacy screen.
Privacy feature will be highlighteddarkening the screen if the device is viewed from a side angle.
The Galaxy S26 and S26+ will be equipped with the chip Exynos 2600 in most markets and will maintain similar screen sizes to the previously released Galaxy S25 and S25+.
Both models will have 12 GB of RAM and the S26 will have a 4,300 mAh battery as its main novelty, while the S26+ will retain the 4,900 mAh battery of its predecessor. The rear cameras will remain unchanged.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra will include the new chip Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5customized for this model. It will have a 5,000 mAh battery, 60W wired fast charging and 25W wireless charging.
In the cameras, the most significant change will be in the apertures, which will be larger and will improve photos in low light conditions, as the South Korean company highlighted in the three videos published last week.

The cameras are a crucial aspect: the same front camera for the three models with 12 Mpx, f/2.2 aperture and PDAF.
The S26 and S26+ share a 50 Mpx main camera with f/1.8 aperture (1/1.56″ type sensor), a 10 Mpx camera with 3x optical zoom and f/2.4 aperture, and a 12 Mpx ultra wide angle camera with f/2.2.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra comes equipped with a 200 Mpx camera with f/1.4 aperture, the same optical zoom camera as the other two models, a 50 Mpx periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom with f/2.8 aperture and a 50 Mpx ultra wide angle with f/1.9 aperture and autofocus.
He Price is also shown in the leaked specifications table: from 999 euros for the S26, from 1,269 euros for the S26+ and from 1,469 euros for the S26 Ultra.
